Trouble with images in Id on MAC os Catalina

Hello everyone, 

I thought i had waited long enough and there would be no issues anymore. I use Indesign 2020 (15.1.2) and mac os catalina (10.15.7). 

When I place image in Id, SOME of them are displayed just as black square. However, it shows properly when exported to pdf (at least).

Does anyone have any solution to that?

Why don't you start by telling us what kind of image you're placing. What is the format? What is the color mode?

As per @chad - tell us the image type you're placing.

To me, it sounds like they are placed transparent PNG files - I'd reopen those in Photoshop and resave them with 24 bit. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/using/optimizing-images-png-24-format.html

Although - if resaving, just save them as .tif and relink the file extension.

It was Jpeg and RGP profile. .tif did the trick, thank you!
