I am having trouble loading a new InDesign document. I can still load files that I have worked on previously and can continue to work on them. However, when I click to load InDesign to create a new document, it doesn't seem to load. I have tried resetting preferences, re-installing, etc and nothing has changed. I just have the blue spinning icon before you get to the page where you can choose what document you would like to open. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi James,
Sorry to hear about the trouble you are facing with InDesign. That's definitely not a typical experience with the application. Could you please confirm which operating system and version of InDesign you are working on?
Also, please try following these steps and let us know how it goes:
Rename CEP folder from following locations:

Hi Srishti,
The path in the MAC seems to be incorrect it should be /Library/Application Support/Adobe. Notice the extra /
Also the windows path should end before CEP, i don't think there is a CEP within this CEP folder

Hello Srishti,
I have the same issue. I followed your instructions which there was no effect.
The new document window flashes up and then goes again. I can use Legacy but I do not want to.
This is a fresh install.
OS 10.15.5 and the latest version of Indesign.
Thanks!
