Unable to launch InDesign on Windows 10

Hello,

my Indesign and Premiere Pro application keeps crashing during launch.

Now I've followed the manual "advanced troubleshooting for Launch issues" and I was able to run both applications with another user without any problems, so far.

But with the user permissions on these both folders are nothing wrong, so there is something else going wrong. Installation of CC was performed only by the main user, but this one is not able to launch the programs.

OS: Windows 10 Pro, Build: 19041

Thanks for any idea and your help

I suggest you unistall InDesign, using the drop-down menu in the Creative Cloud app, and reinstall it again. If that doesnt solve the problem then unistall it again and then run Adobe Cleaner before reinstalling InDesign again.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about this trouble. I agree with the suggestion shared above. Please try reinstalling InDesign using cleaner tool. Please do not forget to remove all the existing folders from following locations:

  • C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Adobe.
  • C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Adobe.
  • C:\Program Files\Adobe

Once done, restart the system and then reinstall InDesign from Creative Cloud.

If this doesn't help either, please head here (https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html) for a live s
