unable to place file from bridge to indesign

No longer able to place files from bridge into my open indesign document after most recent updgrade this past week.

Instead, when I go to place a file from bridge into indesign a new indesign document opens ignoring the one I am working on.

A tad frustrating.

Discovered the problem, which was having two different versions of InDesign running simultaneously. Using the latest upgrade and having no issues now.
