I have Windows 8.1 in my computer and because of that I can´t upgrade my Indesign. I pay every month for this license and I should be able to upgrade without paying for a new version of Windows. 8.1 version is not that old. Adobe should work in giving solutions and not in obliging to pay for something I can´t afford. Thank you.

Windows 8.1 is no longer supported. Upgrading to Windows 10 is your only choice.

Windows 8.1 was released in 2013, seven years ago.

Microsoft ended its support for it on January 9, 2018, more than 2 years ago.

Can't expect any software company to build software for an operating system that Microsoft no longer supports.

But given all that, here are InDesign's system requirements, and Windows 7.1 is supported, so I'm not sure why Windows 8 wouldn't be. Do you have another hardware problem instead, such as RAM, graphics processor, or available hard drive space?

I'm a Mac user, but I see that Windows 10 costs around $20, if that's correct, can't you upgrade your OS, or don't you have the system spec?
