When an Hyperlink URL has letters "fi" in it, the PDF export from Indesign breaks the URL link upon export.

Example: URL "http://www.dummy.com/final" is exported to PDF as linking to "http://www.dummy.com/fi" and "http://www.fixthis.com" to "http://www.fi".

When you try to copy the URL text from the exported PDF to paste on the browser, there is an added space character after letters "fi". Example, when selecting and copying "http://www.dummy.com/final" from PDF, you get "http://www.dummy.com/fi nal" with an space between "fi" and "nal".

I'm using Indesign I'm using 15.0.1 x64.

Any ideas on that? Anyone else getting this same issue?

Could be a ligature problem?Go to your character panel and select the text and turn off ligatures. See if that fixes it.

Yes, I just turned off ligatures in the paragraph style and it fixed the problem. Thank you very much!
