I've inherited a project that consists of updating a company's 15-year, 30"x10" timeline (extending by about 10") that is posted for viewing/download on their website. The pdf file says it's created via InDesign CC13.1 (Win). I'm assuming it would be easier and more consistent to work on it via InDesign.vs. Acrobat DC, but can't figure out how to open the pdf file via InDesign. The prior contractor is deceased so I can't ask him. I'm not experienced with InDesign, but do use Acrobat DC a lot and find it clunky fo moving shapes, and visual interest. Can you lp?

You cannot open a PDF in InDesign, except with a third-party plugin. Can you have access to the original InDesign file?
Edit: Bob was faster!

It strange that Serif PagePlus and then Serif Affinity Publisher have this feature more than 10+ years, Iceni Infix near to 20 years and InDesign still not. 😞
