InDesign 16.2.1
When exporting a document with lots of numerals using a variable font with multiple widths and weights, several of the fonts revert to default at export to PDF.
Each time I export seems to be a different, and largely random, set of numbers that revert to default.
Indesign
These fonts are reading in InDesign as needed, and there's no dialogue box to indicate any missing fonts.
Font is Acumin Variable Concept.

Hello
Can you please tell us what PDF viewer you are using? As far as I know some PDF viewers do not support variable fonts.
Are you using Acrobat?

Howdy Eugene, using Acrobat Pro DC to view, however preview or other PDF viewers are showing the same, which makes me believe the issue lies with the export from InDesign stage.

Be careful of using a font that includes the word "Concept", such as Acumin Variable Concept – probably best not to use such fonts in mission-critical work.

Hi andrec68881114,
I did some tests with Acumin Variable Concept.
Adobe Reader did not show any issues.
The PDF reader of Firefox as well.
What is your PDF viewing app?
Can you post a sample InDesign document where you see this issue? Also the exported PDF.
Put the files on Dropbox or a similar service and provide the download link so that we can see into the problem.
Thanks,
Uwe Laubender
