Is it just happening in one file or in all of your files?

If it's just one file, try saving it as .idml. Then open the .idml file and save it back as an new InDesign file. Did that straighten it out?

If it's all files, then tell us how far down you worked through that post. Be sure to work through to the very end.

This took me a minute—ok, an hour—but I remembered seeing this once before. Are you using a right-to-left spread? And what version are you using? See bug report here:
