What good is InDesign if I cannot load color books such as Pantone?

Why can't I load acb color books from Illustrator into InDesign 2020?  What am I paying for?

You should be able to do it. Open the swatch book you want in Illustrator - then export that to ASE - that's Adobe Swatche Exchange.

Then import that into InDesign swatch panel.

You'll probably have to select the swatches you want to use.

But InDesign should have all the swatch books you need.
