When I use a tab in datamerge, I can not delete empty rows

When I use the tab and data merge, it does not delete empty rows.

Hello Anneli5D82,

Here's a couple of things to try to prevent the empty rows from the merge process to begin with...

Check the data file for any weird hidden characters in it, in the Create Merged Document window, check the Record Limit per Document [ 50 ] box, changed the number from 50 to the amount of records in the .csv.

To delete the empty rows in InDesign,  try to do so in "Edit in Story Editor"

Thanks for the help. It works if I place the fields on each row, but as soon as I put the data merging on the same row and layout them with tabs, it does not work.
