I made a black and white tree diagram on Photoshop, saved as a Photoshop PDF, then when i imported it and placed it in my Indesing document, the line widths had changed, but only some of them. Bizarre, attachment shows line widths on photoshop, left is the placed image in Indesign..
That's most likely due to the way your lines fall on the pixel grid. They aren't lines, they're pictures of lines. You're using the wrong tool for that type of graphic; you wouldn't have the problem if you were drawing it in vectors rather than using an image editor. Is there some reason you couldn't just draw that right on the InDesign page using InDesign's native tools?
