Where is the menu bar

Hello,

I am on a Mac and my programs do not have a menu bar at the top. When I have the programs on my PC all the options are there. As you can see on the screen shot, the File, Edit, Layout... options are not there. How do I get that back? I cannot seem to find any info. Thanks for any insight!

No Mac app has a menu bar at the top, it's not the Apple way. All apps share the same menu bar at the very top of the screen.  May be hidden until you move the cursor there.

Thank you. That did not click for me, and I have the app open on a different window then the menu bar is visible. So I just never noticed.
