White behind text.

My text box has a NONE fill. The type itself has white behind the type ONLY. You can see bits of the background around the type. Even when I copy/paste into a new text box. Any ideas?

Did you add a paragraph background? It would be very helpful if we could see a screenshot of what you're seeing.

I am not familiar with that. How would I check that out? I will include a screen shot soon.
