White image background looks grey on PDF but only on mobile devices!

I have created a small brochure in InDesign. There are some images that have a white background. When I export to PDF, interactive or print, the PDF looks fine on my PC. However, on my mobile phone the white image backgrounds are now grey.

Tried JPG and PNG and various blending modes but always the same problem.

Please assist as this is driving me mad!

There may be nothing you can do about it. Many browsers, especially on mobile device, are unable to properly display print quality files. Try viewing with Acrobat on your mobile device.
