InDesign does never open image files.

InDesign  can only place those files. No reason to think that it does open those files.

Hi Denis,

can you tell more about that issue?

What are you trying to do with the command line?

What's your version of InDesign? What operating system?

Note: To place images to an InDesign layout there must be a file of that image somewhere in the file system.

Regards,
Uwe Laubender
