can you tell more about that issue?
What are you trying to do with the command line?
What's your version of InDesign? What operating system?
Note: To place images to an InDesign layout there must be a file of that image somewhere in the file system.

The right answer should be as a computer programer i will have to parse another time the paramstr(%1) and open a new tab document with this file who sould also be a *.bmp or a *.jpg *.gif, *.png, despite off all is'n the reallity and whas not done.
InDesign does never open image files.
InDesign can only place those files. No reason to think that it does open those files.
Some computer user do not How IBM parameter of the command line who was very usefull before windows opérating system - this avantage could be easyly done by real computer programmer and shoud open files with my program who can do it to parse the command line, In fact all of that must be do immédialtely so denis-draw who know how to open other graphics understand capability like photophop or illustrator who open and parse the command line like Paint Shop Pro and allmost a few of them why denigrate our job say "steve".
