Will 'Share for Review' function work with non-Adobe users?

I am creating a report and I need it 'signing off' and 'adjusting' with comments from my collegues, will they require InDesign or an Adobe Account to comment on the 'Share for Review' function?

Adobe recommends that a reviewer creates an Adobe ID before adding comments to manage the comments better.
