windows splitting

I  was working on a document , I selected arrange -tiles vertically.  by accident and all windows split and multiples. all my side panels are gone too.

 I tried to undo and then fix it but it got worse. It split one of my documents in half trying to fix it.

 I am a new user. How do I go back to the defalut window.

Hi there,
see Screenhot / go to Window -> Arrange -> Consolidate all Windows


Regarding your panels: if you didn't set up a Custom Workspace (in the right corner, where upon first start it reads "Essentials") you're out of luck and have to rebuild your panels.

After doing that you definetly should save it as your own workspace. So in case it get messed up again, you just can say "Reset [name]" and all your panels are back to the way you initially saved it.
