Got excited there for a moment!!! Downloaded and installed the CC2015.9 updated and..... still the same, so I am stuck using a external import suite and still paying for this subscription of LR that is frankly unusable and pointless to us. I probably will NOT be renewing subscription as this hasn't worked for months now. How totally frustrating..
Have/had the problem, too.
Now with 2015.9:
it seems to be fixed after creating a new, empty catalogue :)
it is still NOT fixed for my existing catalogue 😞
It worked for new catalogues in CC2015.8 as well but not ones created with earlier versions and I recall became broken on that update. Adobe need to release a patch instead of waiting until there are enough new cameras to warrant an actual update.

I think the advance is, that new catalogues will keep working now (at least for the time as I have tested this here).
But I fully agree with all others, that it needs a patch to heal corrupted existing catalogues.
Thank you for the quick responses. I have been communicating with the programmers and they are asking if someone in this thread can provide a catalog copy that continues to exhibit the problem after the 6.9/CC2015.9 update. Can anyone provide a copy of their catalog for examination?
I can send you mine. It is about 271 MB, and just full of product shots. I had already sent it to Victoria Brampton so she could see the problem and she advised she had sent it on to Adobe. Before this update I created a new catalogue and merged it with the old one. Same problem. I'm not really keen not doing that again. Please advise
