In slideshow, the audio slider to mix or choose audio over video file does not mute video when all the way to the right. In LR5 this worked fine. But the same slideshow from the same catalog in LRCC 2015 does not fully mute the video sound....tried it on 2 different computers, same result, needs to be fixed.

Sue,

I tested and agree with you that the behavior is as you describe. I am logging it as a bug. Thanks for your help.

Video sound will not mute. This problem began in LR6/CC. It was fine in LR5. I reported this back when LR6.1 came out and it was confirmed as a bug but then so many bugs happened in 6.2 this may have been forgotten. I have researched further and tested each time an update comes out hoping it has been fixed. Here are my findings...when an update is installed the problem seems to be fixed. Video will mute the first time I try it. But as soon as I have moved the setting slider to mute or blend sound and then return to video on mute (slider all the way to right) it no longer mutes...this has happened on every update including the latest. I have experienced the same problem on desktop and laptop. And also have had my choice of 80 computers where I teach to test it out...same results everywhere. To try to resolve the problem myself I deleted preferences and even re-installed on my own computer. The problem continues. Since this was confirmed earlier as a bug I am guessing it got tested and seemed fixed when you made an update, but please check again, move the setting away from video muted, play, and then set back to video muted, you will see it no longer mutes...it is not fixed.
Thanks,
Sue Anne
