P: Importing large tiff files into Lightroom 4.4RC1

Lightroom 4.4RC1 won't import a tiff file more than 2 gb. 4.3 would to this.

According to the bug notes this was fixed in Lightroom 4.5 and later.

What is the width and height of the image in pixels? I don't think the file size is the limit. The total pixel count (width x height) should not exceed 512 mega-pixels, and the long edge of the image should not exceed 65000 pixels.
