P: Navigator preview pane shows wrong photo

In Lightroom 5 sometimes the Navigator preview pane display gets stuck on a different photo than what I'm working on in the develop module. I haven't managed to figure out when in happens specifically, but I notice it once every few working sessions.
Thanks, David

Lightroom CC2015.12/6.12 was released today and should address this issue.  Please update your Lightroom to the latest version and let us know if you continue to see the issue. Thank you for your patience.

I'm using lightroom 6.1.1 with 2 monitors and I have one on grid mode so I use that monitor to select the picture I'm editing. Sometimes the preview picture (top left corner in the navigator panel) on the main screen gets stuck on a different picture even when I switch pictures using my second monitor. It is remedied by going to the filmstrip panel and changing pictures that way, but the preview should switch no matter how I change/pick the picture I'm editing.

How annoying.

Getting this now as well.

Have to shut down lightroom and restart!  Filmstrip doesn't help me.

Came on after deleting some photos as described above.

I believe I am encountering the same issue.

Lightroom CC 2015.10  - Develop Module. Running on macOS Sierra.

Develop presets show an unselected image in the navigator preview window. When I hover over a preset, no change is shown and the incorrect image is still displayed.

I have tried this with and without 'use graphics processor' selected within the preferences menu. I get intermittent results and then need to restart the app.

Very frustrating.

A quick correction: The fix for this issue is not in the CC2015.10.1 / 6.10.1 that was released today. The fix for the Navigator Panel preview is expected to be in the next release.

Quick question: using the preview build is saving from it going to make my catalog incompatible with the previous or next release?

If the version is 6.x it will be compatible with all version of 6.x. It will not be compatible with version 5.x for example.  You should be fine.

I am running LR 6.12, on Mac OS 10.12.6, and have the problem as well: the wrong previews are showing up in Library mode.  The image "corrects itself" in Develop mode. Rebuilding the preview does not help.

Using the latest version of LR CC om Mac OS and still having the same problem! It's frustrating. Sometime going to development module and back clears the problem, most of the time does not.
