P: 13.0.1 at launch [LrC quit unexpectedly] (Mac)

Hi I recently updated my Lightroom Classic and now every time I try to launch it I get the error 'Adobe Lightroom Classic quit unexpectedl'

 

Below is the crash report. Does anyone know a fix to this?

Update 10/16/2023 - Midday - Central Time (US)

The issue has been traced to a server issue on our end and is not a failure of the Lightroom Classic update itself.  This issue has been rectified.

This means that the previous recommendation for this issue is to perform a clean reinstall of 13.0.1, is still the correct resolution as you may have residual files from previous attempts to install present on your system.

 
There is no additional update (i.e., waiting for 13.0.2) that is necessary to corr

I got the same crash at opening on my iMac M1, after updating to the latest 14.0 OS of Apple. And updated the latest versions of Lightroom. Lightroom Classic didn't want to start, it was an immediate crash. After reading, I attempted the proposed solution and it worked, with patience.
-Remove Classic by the Creative Cloud tool. I waited 5 minutes and closed the computer (not a restart) for a few minutes.

-After the start of the computer, I went back to CC to reinstall the latest Lightroom Classic. I waited at least 5 minutes after the completed installation process, and closed my computer again for a few minutes - not a retart, really closing.

-2nd start, I went back to CC and opened the latest version without issues.
Maybe the waiting was not so necessary all the time (specially when closing the computer), but something in there did work.

My issue is now : how to move to Ligthroom, as my updating from Classic option is greyed out. Another topic.

Your advice worked, 13.0.1 worked.

I had 13.0 before, restart, then install 13.0.1 with the creative cloud app, again restart and than LRC startet.

Deinstall the latest version of LRC and reinstall it. It worked for me.

Mise à jour hier soir de Lightroom Classique pour version 13.0.1 sur mon Mac sous OS Sonoma 14.

Aujourd'hui, Lightroon Classique refuse de démarrer avec un message d'erreur systématique !

Pas moyen de faire fonctionner Lightrrom depuis

Bonjour,

Merci beaucoup, en respectant la procédure ça fonctionne de nouveau :slightly_smiling_face:

Par contre ne pas oublier de conserver les paramètres personnels à la désinstallation de LC sinon, bye bye les catalogues qu'il faut ensuite recharger un par un.

This latest update has caused an error in LR to the point to where it will not open. All it does is send a report to Apple. I installed last night, restarted my MacBook Pro, then tried opening LR and nothing.

Installed ver13.0, back in business. Thank god for previous version.

Please get this bug worked!!

Bonjour,
Après le dernière mis à jour de "Lightroom V13.0.1" mon application ne redémarre plus et "Creative Cloud" est très instable. Par contre mon application "Photoshop V25.0" fonctionne très bien.
Maintenant je suis très embêté car je ne peux plus utiliser Lightroom. Petit conseil: il serait bien utile vis à vis de les clients de Adobe de valider ces nouvelles versions avant de les mettre sur la plateforme.

Hello,
After the last update of "Lightroom V13.0.1" my application no longer restarts and "Creative Cloud" is very unstable. On the other hand, my application "Photoshop V25.0" works very well.
Now I'm very upset because I can no longer use Lightroom. Little advice: it would be very useful for Adobe customers to validate these new versions before putting them on the platform.
