P: Assertion failed when trying to publish video to hard drive with a file size limit set for photos

Configuration: MacBook Pro i7 2.7 GHz, Lion 10.7.2, Lightroom 3.5

What I try to do: Publish a set of photos and videos to my harddisk with the option "limit file size" set to 1000 kB.

When I try to publish I get an "assertion failed" error for all the videos.

When I uncheck the limit file size option, everything works fine...

Is it a bug? I thought that videos are not concerned by the settings concerning file size or picture quality...

I believe this is fixed in the Lightroom 4 beta. Let us know if it's still a problem:

Thanks for reporting this. Yes. The warning wording is less than ideal.

Look at the "Auto-Select"  checkbox in the Options toolbar when Move Tool is active. Adjust it there to directly select pixels (checked) or to only respond to whatever layer is highlighted in the Layers panels (unchecked).
