Ever since the V10 update my email out of LR Classic has quit working, but instead returns the above error message.  I have reset the preferences, deleted and readded my email client to no avail.  Still does not work and from the forum, it looks like there are lots of nil value errors happening.

Adobe Employee , Dec 08, 2020 Dec 08, 2020

Updates to the Adobe Photography Products were released yesterday and include a fix for this issue. Please install the December update, restart your system and verify you are no longer experiencing the issue. Thank you for your assistance in reporting, providing additional information and, most of all, for your patience.

Thanks but it's impossible to see what you are doing or just what your point is.  Anyway you can make a link so we can see the video in full size.

@Rikk

Why not let everyone know  instead of people  spending so much wasted time and effort trying to solve for it with solutions that do not work . I don't see this issue being  published anywhere else on your blogs or websites won't more and more people  soon have this issue?

If you use a Mac select "Apple" .

On next screen you can select the server you want to use.

I was able to send mail.

But, issue certainly needs to be fixed ASAP.

Hello,

There are also some great people on Kelby One community who have been trying to help me it appears to be only Apple related ? Is everyone on here who is having a problem on a Mac?

“Unfortunately, it does seem to be a Mac only bug as it relates to sending via email from LrC. I can reproduce Lance’s issue on my Mac.”

Interesting--although on some of the other LR Forums it seems to be more of a universal issue.

@lancejI  I have a problem embedding photos on a PC, running Windows 10.  It will not embed in a gmail account.  I can choose Outlook Mail and it works, but only as an attachment.

After being on a chat with an Adobe person, their solution was to roll back to the previous version.  I told them that that was not an option,  So, they either don't care, or don't have the fix yet figured out.  Seems to be a lot of us with this same problem, so hopefully they will come up with a solution.  Until then.................Adobe has closed the Customer Care case.

@joe_hudspeth yes Joe, but at least they didn't make you jump through hoops before admitting that the only answer was to roll back.  I wont roll back, but I'm might roll off the Adobe platform.

I can't get the Email Photo... from the File Menu command to work. See the error message in my screenshot. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

@rafsax  Adobe told me their solution right now was to roll back to the last version.  Not an option for me.  I have also discovered that when building a slide show, music cannot be added.  Again something new since this update.  So as far as I am concerned, the answer is no, there are no solutions yet.

Thank you for responding.  How do you even roll back to the previous version. It won’t allow me to do that. Ugh.

Go into the Creative Cloud---it will show you your installed apps.  Then find LRC and click on the small dots on the right--choose more actions/other versions--just go back to the last one before 10 and install.  I think it was 9.4.
