P: LR4 - Brazilian Portuguese - Print Module is generating files with suffix ",jpg" (comma)

Bug appears when several photos are printed to files (not to the printer).

LR is generating file names suffixed with ",jpg" (comma) and not ".jpg" (dot).

Most probably somebody is using a library for Brazilian Portuguese where the decimal point is a comma in the wrong place

Hi Carlos,

The Lightroom team has not been able to see this issue. Here are the steps we used, please let us know how your steps differ from ours, so we can reproduce this.

1. Navigate to Print module
2. From the Print panel, select print to JPEG file
3. Click Print to files... button to save the jpeg file to local disk
4. Complete the step and check the result.
The files were saved as .jpg files not ,jpg files.

Thanks,
Becky

Hi Becky!

I saw your message just now. I am using the brazilian portuguese version of Windows 7 (64 bits).

I tested it again and the behavior is the one I have described.

Carlos, is there any detail you are doing differently than the steps I outlined? We haven't been able to reproduce this here, so any additional information you can provide would be appreciated.

Hi Becky!

thank you looking at this.

I repeated the steps:
1) In Grid module (Biblioteca) I selected three photos;
2) Then I switched to the Print module (Imprimir), selected Print to JPEG file and pressed Print to file (Imprimir em Arq.);
3) A file selection Dialog Box opened and I entered the name "teste";
4) LR4 created a folder named "teste" containing three files named
"teste-1,jpg"
"teste-2,jpg"
"teste-3,jpg"

Just to be sure that this is not a problem specific to my configuration, I went to my wife's notebook and repeated the steps there with exactly the same result.

If this helps, here goes the system info provided by LR4:
Versão do Lightroom: 4.0 [814577]
Sistema operacional: Windows 7 Business Edition
Versão: 6.1 [7601]
Arquitetura do aplicativo: x64
Arquitetura do sistema: x64
