P: White dot in bottom left corner

Whenever I open adobe Lightroom for Mac there is a small white dot in the lower left corner of my Mac display. I freaked out the first time because even when I minimized the app it was still there. Thought I had a bad pixel or something. Terminating the app makes the dot go away. I even youtube'd recent videos of people using Lightroom and that same white dot is there. Anyone know what this is? Im assuming its a simple bug and am wondering if both Mac and windows users are experiencing the same thing. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Easy to say, especially if you have no idea what causes a certain bug and how complicated it is to fix. And not very realistic either. The more complicated a software package is, the less likely it becomes that the package will ever be completely free of bugs, including insignificant ones like this one.

It can be hard for a single developer. But for large company is't a huge shame to tell that something is hard. Especially a simple bug!

Do you work at a large software company? I do, and I can tell you that it's simply impossible to fix every bug. And that's not due to lack of caring. Given that reality, it makes perfect sense to defer bugs that are inconsequential or nearly so, like this one. Some bugs get deferred forever, and only go away if/when the software is rewritten from the ground up. It's just a consequence of limited resources.

Shame for your pity company. They want too much money and don't care about customers. Just "buy" more resources and provide support of high quality.

I think you meant "pitiable". Thanks for the idea; I'll be sure to pass it along to management.

Got the same problem on my new iMac 2017, 27 inch retina. Only with Lightroom (2015) CC. Would appreciate when it is solved at the next update.

In 2018? You will be lucky then. They will never fix it but will add more bugs only. As usual.

So glad to see others have it too, why is this taking so long? Lightroom was recently upgraded too, wasn't it?
