A very strange issue with usb

So I have this strange issue I couldn't find anything on, when I boot up Lightroom classic it  run smoothly at first then starts to disconnect all usb devices except for my mouse then when using the program in this state it starts to run slow and like I said no key board no wifi etc. I believe this is caused by Lightroom because once I shut the program down the issue goes away and my computer runs fine, you might think that I don't have the requirements to run the program but I exceed the recommended. Thanks for any possible help.

Very strange. I've never heard about that.

For the first step try to reset the Lightroom preferences:

https://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/

Only a thought:

Please check if you have enabled the automatic import: Auto-import photos into Lightroom Classic (adobe.com)

If it's enabled try to deactivate it and check again.

Check also if the option "Show Import Dialog When A Memory Card Is Detected" is enabled (Lightroom Classic > Preferences (macOS) or Edit > Preferences (Windows)).

If yes try to disable this option and check.

If this doesn't help we need more informations about your environment.

Which operating system do you use?

Which version of Lightroom do you use?

Please post the exact version and not only phrases as "recent", "latest" and so on.

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 10 Pro 22H2 -- LR-Classic 13.2 - Photoshop 25.5 - Nik Collection 6.8 - Topaz Photo AI 2

OK. I'm moving this thread back to the Lightroom Classic forum.

Have you checked if you system is up-to-date? Especially drivers for your mainboard, USB?

At the moment I don't have any ideas where's the problem.

I would try a complete and clean reinstallation.

Please follow the steps below:

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 4 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

So I found a solution that will do for now, I had to restore lightroom to an earlier version and that was 7 which is unfortunate but better than not being able to use lrc at all.
