Was this an upgrade or an update?

LrC during the upgrade may have selected the wrong catalog to upgrade (if lots of work is missing), or may have even created a fresh new catalog, instead of upgrading the correct catalog (if you have absolutely no photos in the resultant catalog) This occurs from time to time. Search your computer for the catalog you know to be the correct one before the upgrade, double click on it, see what happens.
