I tried this on Windows 7 LR 5.6.  The Ctrl+Alt+C doesn't work, but the Alt+0-1-6-9 does work.

I just copied the instructions off a web search.  Option+G works on my Mac.

Thank you, Bob, for your help. I'm sure it works on a PC. But I've just transitioned to (and forgot to mention) that I'm working on a laptop that has no separate number keypad like a "normal" PC keyboard.. Apparently my Lightroom 5.6 converted automatically to a mobile version when I loaded it. In any event, neither the Ctrl+Alt+C or the Alt+0169 methods work. I'll search further to see if I can find out how to create the circle-c on a laptop using Windows 8. Thanks again for your help.

I tried that scheme as well. My laptop (Lenovo T530) does not have a NumLk

key or ScrLk key. I've also tried the alternate methods suggested on that

website you gave the link to, and none of the methods has worked. Weird!

Nonetheless, I appreciate your continued effort to help.

On my windows laptop I had to hold the FN an ALT key and 0169 on the embeded numbers in the letter keys.   Hope you get this solved.

I see that. thanks.  I like your idea of copy/paste from a web site.

Thank you both. Did the copy/paste as the simplest. Should have thought of that earlier -- too much of a purist, sometimes.  🙂

Windows > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map.

Select, copy, paste. That's what it's there for.

Is there a built-in watermark preset that includes the copyright symbol, already, that you could copy-paste into a new watermark?

If not just search the internet for a copyright symbol and copy-paste from the webpage.
