Since yesterday, Adobe Lightroom Classic suddenly started freezing whenever I click "Copy Settings" in the Develop module (or in the Library module). Normally, a dialog window opens with a checklist of the desired development settings. The only way I can quit Lightroom is via the Task Manager. I'm completely at a loss as to what's causing it. I've updated my NVIDIA graphics card driver and also disabled the respective graphics card support as a test. I'm especially surprised that the problem occurred for no apparent reason and in the middle of my work, and apparently can't be resolved!
[Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules. A ‘bug’ is not just a fancy word for any software problem! It’s defined as a coding error that makes the application behave in a way that was not intended by the developer.]
I've already found the problem. I recently moved the Adobe Lightroom window to my second monitor, and yesterday it wasn't running. For some reason, the Develop dialog remained on the second monitor when I moved Lightroom back to my primary monitor. This resolves the issue; perhaps it will help someone else who encounters this problem.

Thanks for following up. Over the years, there have been a number of similar reports of a turned-off second display causing confusion with LR.
