After convert to DNG, the original RAW is gone. No, "delete originals" is not selected

Hi, after using "convert to DNG", a DNG is created, but the original RAW file is gone.
I haven't selected the option "delete originals after succesfull conversion"

I don't see the original in the folder, I don't see it a collection, I don't see it in the catalog - all photographs.
When opening the file explorer (windows), it is still there.

Does anybody know if this is normal (intended) behavior, or that something is wrong?
Thanks!

This is ambiguous -- are you referring to a folder as displayed in the LR Folders panel or the actual on-disk folder?  Normally, when you do Library > Convert Photo To DNG and don't select Delete Originals, LR adds the converted DNG to the catalog and removes the original raw from the catalog but not deleting it from disk.

So in Library, right-click the new DNG and do Show In Explorer / Finder. You should see the original raw next to the DNG in the disk fo

As John already explained, this is completely as expected.
