If you moved the containing folder, then you can use 'Find Missing Folder'. If you moved individual images however (the title of your message suggests that), then you can't solve that by using 'Find Missing Folder' because you don't have any missing folders, just missing images. The only way to 'reconnect

Why? Why can't you just reconnect the missing photos? What happens? Pleaes explain in detail.

I finally have them all back just by “finding” all the year folders and moving them inside LR, thanks.

The only way to 'reconnect' them will be to click on that exclamation mark and then use the dialog that comes up to find that image. That means you will be reconnecting them one by one.

How did you move the images? Did you move them from within Lightroom, or did you move them using Finder?

I moved them from within LR using Finder. I realized I made an error fixing something on my backup HD and got shut out of my  LR Folder although everything was listed in grey. LR couldn't "Find" my main LR Photos Folder, so I clicked on the 2001 folder and it worked!,  then I did all the remaining years ...  Now all is well. Thanks.
