How do I apply auto exposure to a group of selected photos?

When I do this it only applies the setting to the first photo I selected in the group.

When I go to "copy develop settings" and the paste onto the group of the remaining photos they all inherit the EXACT exposure develop settings of the first photo—while I want Lightroom to auto exposure for each photo individually—since the original exposure is different for each.
