Hello,

Longtime photographer here, but no experience with the Canon mirrorless files.

I have a Canon R6 on order and am wondering if its files are fully supported in Lightroom Classic and Photoshop CC.

I do have the latest versions of both and am using a MacBook Pro with M1 chip

Thank you for any input you can give me.

best to you,

Rick

Then all depends on what you consider fully supported. I think you will find that there will not be camera matching profiles for the raw files, but there will be profiles such as Adobe Standard, Adobe Portrait, etc. But you will probably not find profiles such as Camera standard, etc. There are, however, camera matching profiles available from third-party sources if you are interested in purchasing them. I believe there are even some sources that are free. I'm a Nikon user so I don't really keep track of all the different sources for these Canon profiles.
