New Here ,

Please help. I backed up my catalog right before intalling the new update to 14.0.1. When it relaunched, my catalog was gone, it had reverteds to one from a few months back. I've gone through all my backups and cant find my backup from today. I had so much work on there, I think Im going to cry.

Hey, @Roxy26499315qakl. Welcome to the Lightroom Classic Community. I'll help you figure this out. Where do you keep your Lightroom Catalog? Is it on the internal drive or an external drive?

Lightroom may have lost track of the specific catalog you were working on. You can list all the catalogs on your computer using Finder's Spotlight search, type in .lrcat, and arrange the results by modified date to find the recent catalog you were working on before Lightroom updated.

Let me know if this helps.

I'm sure the backup is there somewhere. Use your operating system's search feature to find all files on all disk(s) whose name contains LRCAT.ZIP (might be lowercase). The catalog you want will have the date when you made it.
