Hey, today I noticed that after shooting couple of photos of wedding ring for my friend, one photo contains big veritcal green stripe. In lightroom it green, and in my windows browser is turquoise. Ive never seen this before and its only on JPEG file. RAW file is completely fine. Is my camera starting to breaking down?
Im using:
PC with Windows 10
Sony A7III
FE 85mm F1.8
Lightroom classic 13.3

Such artifacts are typically indicative of failing hardware: bad blocks on a memory card or hard drive, a flaky USB cable or USB hub, a flaky card reader, failing main memory.
It could also be an out-of-date graphics driver, though if it's only occurred on one photo, that is less likely. But as a first step, update your graphics driver by going directly to the manufacturer's web site:
https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/troubleshoot-gpu.html#solution-4
(It's good hygiene to do that in any case.)
Use File Explorer to navigate to the memory card and open that JPEG in the Photos app directly from the card. Does it show the stripe?
If not, copy the file to your local disk and open that copy in Photos. Does that show the error?
As a larger test, shoot several hundred test photos (raw + JPEG pairs) and import them into LR and see if the error occurs again.
