When I export images to do a focus stack in Zarene some of the images have a horizontal black all the way through. My last export was 50 images of which 8 had the black line. The images do not have the line in Lightroom. I have Sequoia 15.0.1 on a MacBook Pro with M1 and 16gb memory. Prior to installing the new OS I did not have this issue. So I am not sure if this a Lightroom or Apple issue. Thanks for your help.

To narrow down where the issue might be, set Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor to Custom, check Use GPU For Image Processing, and uncheck Use GPU For Export
If the problem still occurs, select one of the problem TIFFs and do Metadata > Save Metadata To File. Upload it to Dropbox, Google Drive, or similar and post the sharing link here. We can then see if the problem occurs on other computers or just yours.

I did your recommendation without success. Still lines in the images. I saved the metadata but I don't know where to find it.

Here are more precise steps:
1. In LR Library, select a problem TIFF that, when exported, shows the black lines.
2. Do the menu command Metadata > Save Metadata To File.
3. Do the menu command Photo > Show In Finder. That will open Finder with the TIFF selected.
4. Upload that TIFF to Wetransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive, Onedrive, or similar and post the sharing link here.
We can see if other LR installations export the TIFF with black lines or its something particular to your installation.

I have had this same issue, in a batch of about 20 exports I ususually get 2 or 3 with a single black horizontal line. It drives me crazy. Was there any solution to this? Thx.

As a first troubleshooting step, do the LR menu command Help > System Info and copy/paste the entire contents here so we can see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running and important LR options that are set.
