I have a problem with camera profiles. They work perfectly on many catalogs, but in one specific catalog (my main archive catalog) they don't show in my list of profiles. If I try to reinstall I got the "profile already installed" message. Any idea on how to fix this?
I have Lightroom Classic 13.3 on MacOs Sonoma 14.4
After some more research I've found the solution. Those missing profiles are specific for NikonD810 and I was looking at photos made with other cameras, so Lightroom hides them.

Are the profiles camera profiles whose file names end in ".dcp", or are they enhanced profiles whose file names end in ".xmp"?
If they are camera profiles ending in .dcp, those will only appear for raw files, not non-raws (e.g. JPEGs or TIFFs). Triple-check you're working with a raw in Develop by looking at the filename at the top of the filmstrip:
It's easy to get confused about the file's type -- LR does its best to hide that information from you in the default configuration of LR. There are many, many, many reports here over the years about that...

thank you, the profiles are .dcp, but the problem is for the whole catalog, I have almost only raw files.
I also have some .xmp profiles and they work correctly in every catalog
It is a big problem for me because I use that catalog to archive all of my work and now many photos have missing profiles, and I cannot reinstall the profiles because they are already installed.
In every other catalog everything works fine.

Right -- .dcp camera profiles and .xmp enhanced profiles have their own separate rules about which photos they can be applied to and whether or not they are visible. Glad you got it resolved.
