Can't drag images on map for geocoding in Lightroom 13.0.1 on a mac running 13.6.2. Was working yesterday but not today. Switched to Library and restarted LR...no luck.

What precisely happens when you drag an image from the filmstrip to the map? (The details matter in determining a workaround.)

The plus sign would show when I dragged it from the film strip to the map but it wouldn't tag the location and the image would disappear from the map. It started working again today after I restarted my computer (which I had tried before with no luck). My workaround was to get the coordinates from Google Maps and put them in the metadata manually. Hopefully it'll keep working.

The Map module has been creaky for many years, and Adobe really hasn't supported it.

A workaround that usually works when dragging fails: Instead of dragging the photo from the filmstrip to the map, select the photo, right-click on the map where you want it, and do Add GPS Coordinates To Selected Photos.

OK, I'll try that next time. I appreciate the tip!
