Can't open catalog i Lightroom Classics

I try to open the catalog above, but nothing happens. 

Is that not a catalog? Where can I find the right one?

This is what it looks like where I think that the catalog will be:

That is not a catalog - it is masking and other data associated with your catalog. Your catalog will end in .LRCAT

HI, I am having the same problems with the latest version of LR Classic and tbh am really angray about.

(a) Not possible to edit LRC files in PS anymore (again) this has happend also in past versions many times. This is really irritating that Adobe cannot fix this problem once and for all.

(b) suddenly when editing a file in HDR efex Pro it showed me a Nikon folder, whereas my folder I was using was a Fujifilm folder. Restart of LRC did not work as the problem returned after several photos were successfully edited again in HDR efex Pro

(c) when trying to de-install and re-install the version before which was working flwalessly, itdamaged my catalogiue and I could not retrieve either backup or a former version. The whole work of the last 2 days was gone. What is wrong with Adobe to release such an instabe version???

And to add on to it:

 

(d) all my presets have disappeared most likely due to the runied origainl catalogue file. Now I have to implement all this stuff again - this is really terrible.
