can't unzip ps_picker.lrdevplugin.zip (Mac-OS)

Recent problems with opening images in Photoshop with the ”edit in” command is supposed to be solved with installing a plug-in (ps_picker.lrdevplugin.zip) from Adobes support. Problem is I can’t unzip the file, and Lightroom won’t recognize the file… Any suggestions?

Adobe released Lightroom Classic 12.5 today, which fixes the issue.

That is correct. I've tried dubbel-clicking, and even third party unarchievers. I've also tried downloading the file from different countries websites... (maybe they all direct to the same server though).

Did you read about this 'solution' in some old post? Do not install this plugin if you manage to unzip it after all! This is an old plugin that is not supported anymore and will actually cause a serious problem with the latest version of Lightroom Classic, not solve anything.
