Cancel exiting LR

Lightroom Classic 11.3.1

There used to be a bug, that once you clicked Exit, there was no way of canceling the exit process, even though you clicked "Cancel" in the exit confirmation dialog or closed the backup prompt popup window.

Well... it was fixed... hooraaayy....

And now... it is back.

Please fix it again.

Alright, it was the "Back Up Catalog" dialog, which although it pauses quitting, it is not supposed to give you the option to cancel it. Sorry about that. It was a non issue.

Not a problem for my system. [Cancel] works as expected  LrC v11.3.1 WIndows-10.

Your experience may be specific to your system.

First try a Reset of Preferences. How to: PREFERENCES RESET

Or Reset Preferences in the LrC Preferences Dialog > General Tab > Hold down [Alt] for [Reset all Preferences and Relaunch].

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 14.2 Photoshop 26.3, ACR 17.2, Lightroom 8.2, Lr-iOS 9.0.1, Bridge 15.0.2, .
