Cannot Import photos to Lightroom

I have this morning updated my Macbook to latest ventura and also latest Lightroom update and now cannot import photos from camera to Lightroom, any ideas?

Lightroom (Lr icon) or Lightroom Classic (LrC icon)?

Please explain further. When you cannot import, exactly how far do you get? Exactly what is the error message?

Hi, There is no error message, I plug the camera in and get it appearing as the source I then click on it and it just displays "no photos" in the middle of the screen. It is a new laptop but worked perfectly until I did the updates just now.
