Cannot import pictures

I set up a new Mac mini. Now when i go to import. LRc doesnt show any of the photos/images in any of my folders from Finder.   I see other files/folders. but not any photos that i just put in..

I cant even seem to drag and drop.  

After the intital set up of the new comouter I was able to import some photos.  But i cant anymore.

What version NUMBER of LrC? What version NUMBER of your operating system? (We need the version NUMBERs and not words like "up-to-date" or "current")

Show us a screen capture of the ENTIRE Import dialog when this happens. (use the "Insert photos" icon, do not attach files)

Big Sur 11.2.3

So for example the PICTURE folder on my desktop has the image of the cat.  But if i try and import it to LRc,  LR not see/show the cat picture.  Ive never had this problem.  The images always appear in imprort box.

I specifically requested to see the ENTIRE Import dialog box, not the left portion.
