Cannot import previous catolog after update

Since the update, I've been unable to import my previous catalog. LR will ask if I wish to relaunch with the catalog, but upon relaunch, nothing has been imported or changed. I do not get any error messages. I've restarted LR several times. Can anyone who had a similar issue help? Lately, I've been dreading updates because catalog issues happen for me every time.

Please be specific. What update? Please tell us your version NUMBER of Lightroom Classic (we need the version NUMBER and not words like "latest" or "up-to-date").

Honestly, if you now have LrC 13 or higher and previously you had LrC 12, if you look at the screen, you should NOT see anything different, except in the Develop Module, where you should see new features such as Color Mixer and Lens Blur. Sounds like it is working as designed. What do you see that indicates it is NOT the current version of LrC?
