How do I deal with this

I downloaded all my video clips on my iPhone 13 Pro to my iMac 27 running Lightroom Classic 11.5

Most videos are .mov and mp.4  Some have downloaded successfully and others get the above message

Hi @henrybenj

Thanks for reaching out.

Would you mind updating Lightroom to the latest version? Does this happen with all the images?

This would indicate that the files are corrupted, and you need to restore the file from your backups.

You should have all the Videos saved on a particular location and accessible via finder; if you have imported all the videos under Photos Or iTunes, then Lightroom won't be able to see them.

Let us know if it helps.

Best

Ranjisha

LATEST

The same has happened to my videos. I'm using a Dell Precision PC, and Lightroom Classic has been unstable lately. I have the latest version Lightroom version: 6.14 [ 1149743 ].
I have used a backup of my Lightroom-file, and rebuilt all my previews. All videos (that worked fine just a week ago) turns up grey, and with the message "Lightroom has encountered problems reading this video".
