Could anyone tell me how to setup catalog list to be opened as very first thing?
I mean double click on the icon and first thing shown is catalog list. My friend manage to set it up but he doesn't remember how as he did this ages ago
If you are talking about Lightroom Classic, there are two ways:
To have the Select Catalog list appear every time you start LrC, go to Edit>Preferences>General tab, and use the drop down list in the Default Catalog section and choose "Prompt me when starting Lightroom".
To leave the preferences as they currently are, but get that Select Catalog list on a specific launch, press and hold the Ctrl key (Opt on a Mac) while clicking on the LrC icon.
