I have a Sony A7 R5 camera and I have not been able to connect it to Lightroom Classic. I have many problems. It does not connect. I have changed the cable. I have reinstalled the software. I do not know what to do.

I've moved this from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to theLR Classic forum so that proper help can be offered.

I do not see that (new?) camera in the supported list. And what version number of Lr-Classic are you running.

You may have to wait for the next upgrade of Lr-Classic for raw file compatibility.
Until then shoot in both raw & jpg- you should be able to import and view the jpgs in the meantime.

You need Lightroom Classic 12.1 to support the RAW files
Cameras supported by Camera Raw
and 13.3 for tethering support.
A list of cameras that can be tethered to Lightroom Classic
Which LR version do you have installed?
Which operationg system do you use?
Do you tried to reset tje LR preferences to the default settings?
Do you see the camera in the operating system if it's connected?

This may sound like a strange solution, but I found it in some old thread elsewhere and it worked for me when my Sony A7R V suddenly did not appear when connected: remove the battery from the camera for about 15 minutes. Then try again.
